CATEGORY:

Swimrun Mini

Distance: 1-4km | Solo

Our Swimrun Mini races are a great way to start your swimrun journey and to get a feeling for combining swimming and running together.

Likened more to a traditional run-swim-run or aquathon, the courses are a simple format with only a few legs over a manageable distance.

You can race a mini race barefoot and with no gear, making it the perfect race for all ages and abilities and a way to get the whole family involved.

Swimrun Sprint

Distance: 5-9km | Solo

Our Swimrun Sprint races are a great introduction to the sport of swimrun and a way to challenge yourself while learning how to race in this exciting multisport format.

Distances range between five to nine kilometres meaning you can literally sprint the race or just have a fun experience while enjoying the beautiful scenery all our courses have to offer.

Unlike our longer race distances, the Sprint can only be raced solo but that doesn’t mean you can’t enter with a bunch of friends and complete it together.

Swimrun Short

Distance: 10-14km | Solo & Team

Our Swimrun Short races are a great stepping stone to our longer race distances, providing the perfect mix of variety and distance to challenge you.

As well as racing solo, you can team up with a buddy and enjoy the journey together.

If you have your eyes on racing the longer Championship distance in the future, this distance is great for practising racing with a teammate. You’ll be able to get used to each other’s race style and speed, as well as team motivation and morale.

Swimrun Long

Distance: 15-24km | Solo & Team

Our Swimrun Long races are the longest races distances we (currently) have to offer and are what we refer to as the ‘Championship’ distance.

At about the distance of a half marathon running race, this distance provides the ultimate swimrun challenge, incorporating 3-4km of swimming.

Swimrun Long is best raced in a team so you have a buddy to encourage and push you along as you race to the end. To be eligible for points in the Swimrun Australia Series and Australian Swimrun Championship, you must race as a team in the Swimrun Long race (of the nominated events).
